Product designer for PrestaShop

1. In the PrestaShop back office go to Advanced Parameters → Webservice, enable the webservice and save.
2. Add a new webservice key and generate it. Tick GET, PUT, POST and PATCH for: products, orders, order_states, order_histories, customers, addresses, countries, carriers, currencies, customizations, customer_threads, customer_messages, configurations.
3. In the designer panel, in the Integrations tab, connect PrestaShop: enter the shop address and paste the key.
4. Import products and assign templates in the Products tab.

We always connect over https://, so the key is never sent in plain text. The shop server needs an SSL certificate. If the connection fails, check that the webservice is enabled and friendly URLs (mod_rewrite) work.

1. In the Integrations tab, next to PrestaShop, download the module (.zip).
2. In PrestaShop: Modules → Module Manager → Upload a module and choose the file. It installs itself.

There is nothing to configure in the module, because we recognise the account by the shop address from Integrations. The exception is a designer on your own domain: enter it as the designer address in the module settings.

The button appears above “Add to cart” on products with a template. In the order the product has a customization with links to the print file and preview, and the links also go into an order note visible only in the back office.

The designer reads combination attribute groups, e.g. group[3], and product customization fields, e.g. textField3. A size picked from a list opens the design at its own size, and a colour changes the product photo. In the template, use the field picker and choose from the list.

Without the module, with the Webservice key alone, you can send a designer link after purchase. Rule conditions include country, order value, shipping method and a word in the customer’s notes. When an automation changes the status, PrestaShop sends the customer the status email if that status has one enabled.
