A business card is a small format where every millimetre counts. The designer shows the customer the cut line and the safe margin, and ready designs let them type only a name, job title and phone number. The print shop gets a PDF with bleed.

A business card from a ready design
Prepare a few designs in the Project designs tab: with a logo, with a photo, minimalist. The customer picks a design in the designer, changes the texts and saves. In the simple designer you can limit changes to marked fields, with a label and a character limit, e.g. “Full name”, max. 30.
Safe margin and cut line
On a 90 × 50 mm card, text too close to the edge is easily cut off. Set a safe margin in the template, e.g. 4 mm. The buyer sees a green line that text should not cross. The line is not part of the file.
Frequently asked questions
Can the customer upload a vector logo?
Yes. The designer accepts SVG, PDF and AI (saved as PDF compatible). It converts them to a 300 DPI image with transparency.
How do I order cards for several people?
Each card is a separate design. The customer saves a design, goes back to the designer, changes the details and saves the next one. In the panel all designs have the same order number.
Will the text be sharp in print?
Yes. A vector PDF keeps text as vectors, sharp at any scale. Only gradient text, e.g. gold, is a 300 DPI image in the file.
