T-shirt designer

A T-shirt print designer for your shop

The customer designs the print on a photo of your T-shirt, inside a print area whose size you set in millimetres. The colour chosen in the shop changes the photo. Only the print goes to production, as a 300 DPI PNG with transparency, ready for DTF, DTG or screen printing.

Example: a T-shirt with a company logo

A Mockup template has three sides: Front with a 280 mm wide area, Back with 300 mm and Sleeve with 80 mm. The sleeve is optional. The customer uploads a logo, the designer removes the background, and the customer places the logo on the chest and a slogan on the back. The order gets a ZIP with two PNG files, one per designed side.

T-shirt colour from the product option

In the template, enable a different photo per option, fetch the options from the product and upload a photo for each. When the customer chooses a black T-shirt, the designer shows a black one. A polo can have a different print area than a T-shirt. The order shows the chosen variant, e.g. WARIANT: Black.

Name T-shirts as gifts

A customer buying a T-shirt for a birthday does not have to design. In the simple designer they pick an occasion and get a ready design on the T-shirt, changing only the name and age. You prepare the designs in the Project designs tab.

Text effects in the designer: 3D gold, neon, foil balloon, ice
Text effects for T-shirts: the buyer picks a tile and types their text.

Frequently asked questions

Is the designer suitable for DTF?

Yes. The file is only the print at the area size, a 300 DPI PNG with a transparent background. DTF and DTG printers accept such files.

Will the customer see the T-shirt in their colour?

Yes, if you upload photos for the colour options. The designer changes the photo when the option is chosen in the shop.

How large can the print area be?

As large as you set in the template, in millimetres. Most often A3 on the front (about 280 × 400 mm) and A4 on the back. The designer warns when the customer’s photo is too small for that size.
