Wall murals and signs
Wall murals, signs and pictures from customer photos
The customer types the wall size, uploads a photo and crops it in the designer. The designer calculates the photo’s print resolution and warns when the print may be blurry. You get a PDF at the wall size, with bleed.

The customer enters the size
In a flat print template choose “The customer enters the size”. In the shop the customer gives the width and height, e.g. 350 × 260 cm, and the designer opens at that size with bleed. In IdoSell the size can come from product parameters, and the shop’s formula calculates the price.
Large photos without lag
Camera photos are often 20–50 MB. The designer edits a lighter copy and uses the full-resolution original for the print file. That keeps it smooth even on a phone. The file has at most 12,000 px on the longer side, so for very large formats set 150 DPI in the template.
Frequently asked questions
How many DPI does a wall mural need?
A wall mural is viewed from a distance, so 100–150 DPI in print is usually enough. You set the minimum in the template, and the designer warns the customer below it.
Can the mural be split into panels?
The designer creates one file at the size of the whole wall. You split it into panels in your RIP or print software.
Can the customer add text to a sign?
Yes, it is the same full designer: text, shapes, elements and a QR code, e.g. for an information board or a shop sign.
