Product designer for IdoSell shops

1. Connect the shop. Install KreatorPRO from the IdoSell Apps catalog (you open the panel from IdoSell, without a separate login) or paste an API key in the panel settings. The key needs read access to products. Read access to orders is recommended, because it adds order numbers to designs.
2. Create a template. Choose the type (flat print, mockup, wind flag, stickers), the size in millimetres, the bleed and the file format.
3. Assign products. Pick the template for each product that should get the designer button.
4. Paste the code. Copy the code from the panel settings and add it once in IdoSell under HTML and JavaScript add-ons. In the add-on settings choose the product page only and loading at the end of the <body> section.
5. Check. Open a product with a template. The designer button should sit above “Add to cart”. IdoSell caches pages, so allow a few minutes after a change.

IdoSell has two add-on types. An HTML add-on takes the code starting with <script src=…>, a JavaScript add-on takes the code without the <script> tag. The panel offers both versions.

The designer reads parameters from the product page, so the design starts at the right size.

• Size typed by the customer. In the template you enter the width and height parameter numbers, e.g. 342 for the par_342 field. The designer opens the page at the customer’s size, and the size is added to the order comment.
• Size from an option. A size picked from a list, e.g. A4, B3 or “35x50 cm”. We read the size from the option name. When the name says nothing (“Small”), you enter it by hand.
• Different photo per option. A T-shirt colour or a flag pattern changes the photo or shape in the designer.
• Stickers from parameters. Shape, diameter, width, height and quantity come from product parameters.

IdoSell still calculates the price, for example with a formula. The designer does not touch it.

After the design is saved, the designer adds a few lines to the product comment in the cart:

• a link to the print file (PDF in mm with bleed, or PNG),
• a preview image,
• for stickers, a CutContour cut line file,
• the variant, size and quantity when they come from parameters.

The order number appears next to the design in the panel. The designer checks new IdoSell orders every 10 minutes by default, and you can change it to 1, 2, 5, 15 or 30 minutes. A downloaded file is named after the order, e.g. zamowienie-2443-1.pdf.

If your IdoSell orders also flow into Apilo, Base or SellAsist, set that system to the “design link only” mode. The designer then adds the file link to the order note once and imports nothing twice. Details on the Apilo and Base pages.
